Have you ever been nervous before going to work? I have to admit, I was a little nervous going into this session. I was not worried about the baby, my cameras, or even my sets. I was concerned about the photoshop editing. Now, if you are familiar with my work or if you have ever seen one of my editing videos you might find this surprising. The reason I was nervous was that the Daddy in this session is the Graphics and Photoshop teacher at DeKalb High School! He is by far the areas expert in everything Photoshop. He was one of my mentors when I began my professional photography career. I was humbled and a bit overwhelmed when he asked me to photograph his newborn baby girl.
Ryan and his sweet wife Jenny, came all the way from Rockford, IL to visit the Wigglebug studio. Jenny took advantage of the time to catch a nap and Ryan was busy catching up on grading. I am so thrilled I was able to capture this precious and fleeting moment in their newborn daughter's life and in the life of their growing family.
