I have had this idea for a while to offer a class for parents who want to take better photos with their own cameras. I want to call it "Mommy Shoots!".  I get questions all the time about what lens to buy or what a setting on a camera means. Well... let's just say it is on my "list" of things I want to do in the future. In the mean time, here is a list of five tips that will help you become a better photographer for those every day moments that get away too quickly

Flash back to fall. I am longing for the warm light and vibrant colors of fall. The T family was so much fun and their personalities really highlighted the warm intimate mood of the day.

What is custom photography? The better question is “What is custom photography with me, Tricia, of Wigglebug Photography. Custom photography means stellar service, brilliant editing, custom sales, and professional presentation.

With Wigglebug, you get an artist and consultant from the start. We will chat about what your family should wear for your session, how to coordinate outfits, and how to make your images timeless, yet personal. We will talk about how to make your newborn sleepy and comfy so I can get those adorably sweet poses.

I will have multiple poses and props in mind when you show up to your session-- you will not have to worry about a thing. However, I am always open to hearing your ideas and I make time to get every shot that you had in mind. Patience is key! There is no rushing, worrying, or stress during your session. If it takes 20 min. to get your 2 year old to stop crying or picking her nose, no problem! Patience, low stress, and fun are the foundations of my sessions. When you walk away from your session, I want you to say what Katie (mom of three) said at the end of her family session, “Thanks, that was so much fun!”

What will your images look like? You can check out the rest of my website to see examples of other sessions that might be similar to yours. This should give you an idea of my style and technique. Check out the "Love Notes" page to see what clients have to say about their sessions. Each image will be shot with an artist's eye and a finished piece of art in mind. The pictures will be edited to bring out the color, light, and sharpness.

Now you will have 15 to 30 perfectly styled and edited photos. HOW in the world will you choose which ones to buy and what size? I hear “I am so bad at decisions” or “these are ALL so beautiful, you make it so hard to choose” all the time. This is why I do in-person viewing sessions. I am very good at making decisions and guiding others to pick what will work best in their home and for gifts. I have lots of samples on hand, so I can show you the difference between an 8x10 and a 16x24 or a print vs. a gallery canvas wrap. I can show you what a grouping will look like or even show you what your image will look like in one of my Luxury Style frames.

After viewing and ordering your images, I will hand deliver your prints, canvases, albums and CDs all wrapped up in my signature damask envelope. I have even been known to walk room to room in clients’ homes, holding up their canvas so they can see what it will look like on different walls.
