What is a Cake Smash? A Cake Smash is a new "tradition" of capturing your child's first taste of cake on his or her first birthday. Most sessions are scheduled within a month of your child's first birthday and usualy include more traditional images along with the smashing of the cake. This is one of my favorite sessions to shoot and creates a SWEET memory! A custom cake made by Sweet Dream Desserts is included with the session.
During a one year milestone session or "Cake Smash" session we will capture images of your little one in an outfit of your choice and then move to the sweet part! A custom indoor or outdoor set can be designed for your session. We can also get a shot of your little one in one of my vintage tubs cleaning up after the smashing.
Together these images create a timeless and precious keepsake of your one year old's growth milestone.
