It is almost time for your Maternity Photos session! Here are some tips to help your session go as smooth as possible.
1. Choose your wardrobe ahead of time.
You can choose from the Wigglebug Dress Collection. Let Tricia know which dresses you want before your session. Coordinate your partner and your child. If you are choosing the more formal looking dresses you will want your partner styled more formally as well.
2. Pamper yourself!
I highly recommend getting your hair and makeup done professionally the day of your session. Also, give attention to your manicure and pedicure. Have those freshly done the week of your session. If you don't have time for that make sure your nails are clean and free of any chipped polish. I recommend neutral polish or a french manicure so your nails match multiple outfits.
3. Undergarments
You will need nude colored undergarments. Choose the style that you are comfortable in such as a thong, or boy shorts. You will also need a nude strapless bra (with cups). This will endure the dresses lay flat and in a flattering manner.
4. Shoes
Nude heels look the best with all the dresses. You will want to bring flat slide on shoes for walking if we will also be doing outdoor photos. Remember to update your pedicure, you will be barefoot for some photos as well. I recommend a neutral color or French pedicure.
5. Older Siblings
Don't for get to style older siblings as well if they will be in the photos. Make sure they have an outfit that coordinates with one of your dresses. They will need clean shoes as well. It is a good idea to bring your partner or another adult that can help entertain any siblings when you are having individual photos done.
6. Snacks
Snacks and water are important for everyone! Bring a "clean snack" to help keep your blood sugar regulated. When I say "clean" I mean something that will not leave orange crumbs or red stains.
