Baby Boy Newborn Photos | DeKalb Sycamore, IL Photographer

I am very happy to introduce the world to this little guy. He belongs to my niece Jessica. I was surprised but thrilled when Jessica told me that she wanted to make the three hour trip down from Cedar Rapids, IA to the Wigglebug studio in DeKalb, IL . Jessica said she did not want anyone else to photograph her little guy. She knew how important it was to have an experienced photographer handling  her little guy. He is a little one at just under 6 pounds but, he slept like a dream. I was also completely fascinated with his cowlick! He has the most PERFECT swirl cowlick just above his forehead. I am so glad I got a macro shot of that ! It is also fun to note that I was knitting some of the props used in this session at our family Christmas. It was a great joke for everyone to ask "what are you making" every time they walked into the room. I am happy to have these beautiful photos to share with our entire family.

Jessica and her family stayed the night and we were able to relax. I was able to get in even more baby snuggles. This session is one of the things that makes me love my job so much. I love being able to share my talent and ALL my training and experience with my family.

Here are two of my favorites from the session. I really hope his grandma and grandpa love the baseball shot. Grandpa is a baseball coach and Jessica really wanted this pose.
