DeKalb, Sycamore, IL Senior Portrait Photographer | Senior Photos 2016 Seniors

This session is extra special for me because I traveled all the way from my home/studio in DeKalb, IL to Liberty, IL ! Why did I travel so far? Because this young man is my nephew.

Senior portraits are so special. Senior year is when a young person stands on the border between childhood and adulthood. I was so pleased to be able to capture these memories for my nephew Reed.

You will notice that these basketball photos are dramatically different from my usual style. It was so great for me to stretch as an artist. It took some extra equipment and some help from Mr. Wigglebug (my husband) but we were able to create these dramatic portraits.

After we visited the Liberty High School gym we headed over to Palmyra MO to my father's farm. Reed has grown up visiting this farm with his father. He fished, road four wheelers, RZRs, and tractors on this farm. We even found one of my grandfather's grain trucks with the name "Wolfmeyer" still visible on the side.

This is one of my favorite senior sessions for many reasons but, most of all because it is family.

Here are some of my favorites from our time together.
