Meet Miss Demi Rae formerly known as "Baby Cinco" ! Demi is the daughter of my good friend, neighbor and part time assistant ,Carolyn. I was so excited when Carolyn shared that she was expecting baby #5! I nicked name their new addition "Baby Cinco". My youngest son was so surprised that Carolyn let me name her baby. He was shocked when I let him know that Cinco was just a nick name and we would not know the real name until the baby arrived!! I immediately started dreaming of photo opportunities when Carolyn gave me the news of her newest bundle of love. We started with maternity photos. Carolyn is one of those women who just gets more beautiful with pregnancy. She rocked her maternity sessions. We had to do more than one because the first time we tried my camera froze! It was a very cold afternoon. We wanted the perfect light and it had just snowed. We got everyone together, posed everyone in my kitchen so everyone would know where to stand. Then we ran outside and I snapped a few photos. It was so cold that my camera froze! We were probably only outside for a total of 3 minutes!! But we did get one stunning photo! The next maternity session we did in the studio, with a heater !
Just a couple of months later we welcomed Miss Demi to the #whiteoaksummercamp crew ! This session was MUCH warmer lol! We had everyone in the studio for sibling and family photos. This group was so perfect to work with. Of course, I may have photographed this crew a few times before so they knew exactly what to do. Demi was the star of the show and she slept like a dream during her newborn session. The lavender wraps headbands were perfect for her. I can not decide if the mom photo or the dad photo are my favorites here. I guess I can not decide since I have so much love for everyone in these photos.
